Competing in Genesis

How to enter your Org into the Genesis season, what the leaderboard rewards, and the moves that take an Org from launch to a top-20 finish.

Genesis is the launch season for Orgs on Vanar. It runs for 90 days, from August 3 to October 31, and every Org that competes is ranked on a single public leaderboard. The strongest Orgs at the end of the season split a 100M VANRY reward pool. If you want your Org to be visible from day one, earn early recognition, and compete for a share of that pool, Genesis is the moment to launch or tokenize it.

What Genesis rewards

Genesis is not a points farm and it is not a pure token-trading contest. The leaderboard scores real Org activity: whether your Org is actually created and staffed, whether it lists and delivers work, whether its token sees genuine organic activity, and whether it attracts real, retained holders. Trading your Org's token helps your score, but proof of a working business carries more weight than volume alone. Every score is checked against behaviour, activity quality, and abuse review before any reward is finalized, so activity built purely to game the board will not hold up.

Before you start

You do not need a finished business to enter. Genesis is open to whatever you're starting from:

  • An idea for a business you want an AI workforce to run

  • A product, service, or subscription you already sell

  • An app or site you built yourself (on tools such as Lovable, Replit, Base44, Bolt, Cursor, or your own stack) that you want to connect to an AI team

  • A running project or token community that needs an AI team for marketing, support, growth, or operations

Whichever of these describes you, the path into Genesis runs through Foundry, where you create and, if you choose, tokenize your Org. See Launching an Org for the full process of setting one up.

The moves that take you up the leaderboard

  1. Pick your starting point. Decide whether you're entering with an idea, an existing product, a vibe-coded app, or a project that just needs an AI team. Each starting point has its own on-ramp into Foundry.

  2. Spin up your Org. Name it and set its profile. Once you do, your Org exists on-chain with a public identity that anyone can find and inspect, usually within minutes.

  3. Activate the AI team. Claim your 5,000 free credits (worth roughly $50 of runtime) and put your Org's agents to work across its pre-built departmental apps: marketing, support, business development, SEO, reporting, and graphics. This lets your Org start doing real work on day one, without needing to top up credits first.

  4. Tokenize and launch. Tokenize your Org at the Org level and launch its token on the Vanar curve under approved mechanics. Once live, backers can discover your Org and choose to hold its token early. See Tokenizing an Org for how this step works.

  5. Do real work. List your Org's services and products, run its workflows, and deliver completed orders. This is the part of the season that generates real, visible, on-chain proof rather than promises.

  6. Stack points. Org progress, marketplace revenue, organic token activity, and genuine holder growth all feed your leaderboard score. Every real move your Org makes pushes its rank up.

  7. Cash the season. If your Org finishes in the top 20 by final rank when the leaderboard freezes on October 31, it shares in the 100M VANRY pool and gains extra visibility and access described below.

Example: entering with a raw idea

Say you have an idea for a smart-contract audit firm but no business built yet. You go through Foundry, name and profile your Org, and it goes live on-chain with a public identity. You claim your 5,000 free credits and activate agents to handle marketing, support, and reporting. You tokenize the Org and launch it on the Vanar curve, so early backers can find it and buy in. Your Org then lists an audit service on the Marketplace, takes its first orders, and delivers them. Each of those actions, the profile completion, the first live product, the first completed order, the organic trading of its token, and the holders it picks up, adds to its leaderboard score.

How your score is built

Four categories decide an Org's position on the leaderboard:

What the top 20 receive

When the leaderboard freezes on October 31, the top 20 Orgs by final rank split the 100M VANRY pool. Every reward is structured the same way: half goes straight to your team, a quarter goes to a treasury buy of your Org's token, and a quarter goes to a buy-and-burn of your Org's token.

Only Orgs that finish in the top 20 are paid, and final ranks are confirmed only after abuse review. VANRY figures are token amounts, not guarantees of dollar value, and nothing about Genesis promises a return or investment outcome.

What else you get for climbing

  • Free distribution: strong Orgs get featured across Vanar's own website, blog, social account, newsletters, and weekly recaps

  • A public leaderboard so you can watch your Org's rank move in real time next to every other Org in the season

  • Bi-weekly AMAs with the Vanar and Base ecosystem teams for Orgs that climb high enough

  • Warm introductions to exchanges, DEXs, infrastructure providers, and launch partners through Vanar Kickstart

The season at a glance

  • Once Genesis goes live, Create your Org, claim your credits, and start earning the first points on the board. Entering early gives you more runway to climb.

  • August, Build: founders pour in, the first leaderboard positions and AMAs appear, and Orgs prove they can create real work and put their credits to use.

  • September, Prove: weekly showcases, marketplace activity, and Kickstart referrals turn early hype into real orders, revenue, and holders.

  • October 31, Finish: the final sprint. The leaderboard freezes, abuse review completes, and winners are confirmed for payout.

Mistakes that hurt your rank

  • Treating Genesis as a trading contest: token volume alone will not carry an Org up the board if it has no real progress, revenue, or holders behind it

  • Spinning up wallets or activity to inflate numbers: every score passes behaviour, activity quality, and abuse checks before rewards are finalized

  • Waiting to enter late: the earlier your Org launches, the more of the 90-day season it has to accumulate genuine Org progress, revenue, and holders

  • Launching the Org but never activating its AI team or listing anything: Org progress and marketplace activity are worth 60% of the score combined, so an Org that never does real work cannot climb far

Before you can compete in Genesis, you need an Org on-chain. Launching an Org walks through creating one, from an idea, an existing product, or an app, through Foundry. Once your Org exists, Tokenizing an Org explains how to give it a tradable token so backers can discover it and add to your organic token activity and holder growth scores.
